Zelda Majora's Mask Tattoo

This is my first tattoo (but not last) that I made in April/May this year. I created this account and uploaded the picture just to thank my main inspiration and the creator of the original picture, which I used for this tattoo. The tattoo took around 9 hours to finish and was made by Bobby at Good Guys Tattoo in Karlshamn, Sweden. Coolest guy ever.
Why this tattoo? Well I like tattoos and I love the Zelda franchise, so I wanted something from it. Basically it's an homage to the 12-year old self in me.


A little bit of more detailed description of the tattoo itself:
My all-time favourite game is Majora's Mask, with Ocarina of Time just behind in second place, mainly because MM was my first Zelda game that I played and OoT my second. So therefore I wanted to do a Zelda tattoo which took something from both games; the picture from MM and the text from OoT. I fell in love at first sight with the marionette picture and thought it was both original and a perfect presentation of Skull Kid's role and relation to the mask. The text is from taken from the tombstone inside the Royal Family's Tomb where you learn Sun's Song. For some unknown reason I liked it a lot when I read it the first time I played the game, and thought it would fit the picture in a nice and interesting way.
